1/2 tsp ginger-garlic paste
1/4 cup teriyaki sauce ( available at any food store)
1 medium onion -chopped into ring-shaped slices
1 tsp brown sugar/ jaggery
1 Tbsp sesame oil

oil for cooking

To Make the Sandwich:
- Stir fry onions slightly for 10 seconds
- Combine this with ginger-garlic paste, teriyaki sauce, rice wine and brown sugar.
- Add the water and bring to boil and then simmer.
- Stir fry the chicken in this sauce until cooked.
- Cut the chicken into strips

- Cut the burger bread in half.
- Apply butter and toast the burger bread in a grill.
- On one half of the bread, place the salad leaves.
- Place the teriyaki chicken strips stir-fry over this.
- If you want it more spicer, garnish with more slices of jalapeno pepper on top of the chicken
  strips like I did.
- Glaze rest of the saucy teriyaki mixture over the chicken.
- Place the other toasted half of bread ontop. (You could add more salad leaves)
- Poke a toothpick through the center to hold the sandwich in place.
- Serve on plate with salad on the side.

Enjoy! :)!
